Amazon Customer Reviews:
Very impressed! - (5/5)
This tv looks great. Very stylish, and ultra sexy looking. It only took about 4-5 minutes to set this baby up, which was ever so straight-forward. I was going to go for the 42" version, but this thing is big enough, and a lot bigger than I expected. I would not have benefitted from a larger one, given the size of my bedroom.
I did have a few problems with picture quality at first, but this was soon resolved with the addition of HD leads (hehe, silly me). The picture is only as good as the signal you put into it. Using my upscaling Samsung DVD player, using a regular scart lead, the picture came out grainy and had severe ghosting. But, now with the HD cable (and not even an expensive one), the picture perfectly fine.
Gaming on this tv is awesome. Have my PS3 and Xbox 360 hooked up to this baby, and all I can say is QUALITY.
Overall, this is a great lcd tv, and well worth the Play.com price. You try buying this in the high street, it'll set you back at least £100+ more. If you are having any doubts buying this tv, don't! Just buy it, you won't be disappointed.
best large screen lcd on a budget - (5/5)
we bought this tv last week & have to say are very impressed with the whole package including price( £500 from debenhams website, but advise not to buy from here as we had bad experience, with cust service a nightmare). there are many comments on the quality of the picture but i have managed to tweak settings(which are numerous)so you can achieve a good balance for poor & good reception channels.I have found that if you turn off the dnie, the picture on channels with a poorer quality look better & more natural with little or no background grain.i turn the dnie back on for hd signals. my view on picture quality is that the tv merely exagerates any imperfections in the feed to it, due to it's size & clarity. i have found lowering the contrast gives best performance overall. on hd you can have everything set high & picture is stunning. i have a ps3, hd dvd recorder, sky+ sd & bt vision & have still found good picture for all. although only 3 formats for picture type:movie/standard/dynamic, these can be tailored individually for each input, & tv will store these settings. so flexible! as for sound. i really have no complaints as volume is good & clear, again with ample scope to tinker, for your own taste. overall an excellent set, now at bargain prices, due to a new model arriving on the market. i have investigated & can see little difference in performance of new 'm' series for extra £100+.
A looker in every respect - (5/5)
Having had one of these since Christmas, the first thing most people say when laying eyes upon it is just what a good looking TV this is. Completely apart from the excellent screen performance (sharp and well-balanced, providing you get into the menus and turn off a few filters), the good proportions and piano black finish make this a really nice object to have in the home. There are better specification TVs out there now (no 1080p is an issue), but this set exudes a kind of futuristic, understated class, on or off.

Amazed and blown away
a few complaints on here. i have had none of them
720p set which is great for the size. 40" plus would recommend 1080p. But at that point you would need a blue ray player and blue ray movies all at alot of cost. This tv is perfect to watch normal dvds upscaled. Due to this tv i have had to rewatch all of my dvds as this tv does them justice.
would recommend to everyone. I can not compare this tv to the £1000 plus as i dont have. but this tv is a amazing price and just works. no problems, it does what it is supposed to do.
Excellent looking tv - (4/5)
When I opened the box I was delighted to see how stylish and sleek the tv looked. If you can get this tv for under £500 it is a bargain. Only downside is that fast moving pictures could be a bit sharper.
